Frequently Asked Questions
A signed certificate follows each CMK pickguard after creation.  It will be completed by the manufacturer only.  Should any part of document not been completed it should be deemed 'Void' and manufacturer contacted for a complete copy.  (questions?)  Also, each piece has been physically engraved with serial number and signature of the maker.  If markings are not clearly avaliable on a part (new) it should be considered counterfit and not represent maker.
When contacting manufacturer by e-mail please include: serial number, type of guard and return e-mail address or contact number.  You will be contacted with further instructions for verification.
Most guards will have a signiture (left) and corresponding serial number engraved on back.  Exceptions to this general rule are clear acrylic ('crystal view') guards, which have markings on the interior edge of a pickup opening.  1/8" clear will have serial number only due to size and clarity.  Normal rules shall apply to opaque colors.
The serial number contains all information needed to cross referance any guard for authenticity.
