Simply, "It's a stamped diagonal pattern of elongated diamond shapes. These diamonds extend above a flat plane, with diamond and base being derived from the same piece of material." (Mike, design manager)
The name 'Diamond Plate' is a generic term describing the diamond pattern and used for many applications and sub-sets for its attributes, features and look. Currently, the Diamond Plate 'Look' is produced in many types of materials such as Laminates, plastics and ferrous/nonferrous applications.
Our Guards
We use only mirror polished sheet aluminum of the highest grade at a .065" thickness to ensure function, look and extended durability.
Each Guard is carefully built by hand and given close inspection during this process to ensure the final piece meets our high standards.
As with all CMK Guards, we never Drop Stamp, Plastic Mold Inject, use CNC equipment, Laminate or mass produce our products overseas. CMK Guards are made in the U.S.A.
Q: How do you Manufacture?
As the #1 question asked, we will address it now for your review. Simply; We are not able to discuss the fabrication process. We can say, each material (carbon, texalium, acrylic and metal) requires its own special rules for manufacture and are given exact respect during that process.
